Norland has been ranked 53rd in the Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250, a rise of 49 places on last year. Published on Sunday (October 13), the league has ranked Britain's leading mid-market private companies for the last nine years.

Norland has warned that without a comprehensive risk management approach to their data centre facilities, organisations face the risk of costly failures and significant harm to their reputation. Norland’s new white paper “Critical systems: You are the weakest link” acknowledges human error as the biggest cause of data centre failure and sets out a 10 step process to mitigate risk.

Norland has been retained by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) following a competitive tender. The new contract extends the relationship between the two organisations to twelve years and makes the FCA one of Norland’s longest-standing customers.

Authorised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales (ICAEW), the initiative forms part of Norland’s commitment to training and development with an objective of taking on three graduates in its first year.

Norland, one of the UK and Ireland’s leading facilities, energy and project management companies, has extended its relationship with BNP Paribas Real Estate by winning the contract for Tower 42. Norland works with a number of properties managed by BNP Paribas Real Estate including Twenty Gracechurch Street, Devonshire Square, Belgrave House, Almack House, and 40 Grosvenor Place. Norland will maintain all electrical and mechanical systems within the estate as well as building fabric works.
