The management team
Many of our business leaders and the majority of the members of our Board of Directors have been promoted internally to their current role.Our team consists of three non-executive members, including the Chairman and six executives.

Paul Lester, Chairman
Paul has been Chairman of Greenergy International Ltd since 2010 and prior to this was the Chief Executive Officer of VT Group PLC and Group Managing Director of Balfour Beatty PLC. He has also held senior management positions with Graseby PLC, Schlumberger and Dowty Group. Paul is Chairman of the John Laing Infrastructure Fund and Marine Current Turbines. He also sits on the Board of Invensys as a Non-executive Director. Paul was appointed to the Board of Norland in September 2011.

Ian Entwisle, Chief Executive
Appointed Managing Director for Norland Managed Services Limited in 2002, and Chief Executive in 2007. Ian was originally appointed by Norland in June 1997 as Sales Director. Prior to 1997 Ian was UK General Manager of Satchwell Control Systems Limited, before which he was Divisional Director for the UK, Middle East and Southern Europe.

Julie Archer, Human Resources Director
Joined Norland Managed Services as a Board member in March 2012.
Prior to joining Norland, Julie worked for Green King plc where she held the position of HR Director. Before that Julie was the European HR and Customer Service Director for Central Parking System UK Ltd and Apcoa Parking Services.

Edward Brown, Non-executive Director
Non-executive Director appointed to the Board in April 2009, Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and member of the Audit Committee. Main Board of Director Rentokil Limited, following a 25 year career at Rentokil, rising to the position of Chief Operating Officer, as well as other non-executive directorships with Morrison Facility Services, SITPRO (trade facilitation), Moat Homes, Brogdale Horticultural Trust and Chief Executive Officer of Morgan Everett Limited. Previous experience with British Steel, Kwikform and, in the insurance sector, specialising in risk management, with Bland Payne and Sedgwick Limited.

Mike Burdett, Non-executive Director
Non-executive Director appointed to the Board in September 2004. Chairman of the Audit Committee and member of the Remuneration Committee. He is also Chairman of Electoral Reform Services and Fusion Internet Solutions. His previous experience includes founding LSI Computer Systems plc in 1984, acquired in 1997 by Scala Business Solutions. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Scala until its acquisition in 2004 by Epicor Software.

Duncan Green, Finance Director
Appointed to the Board as Finance Director in September 2001. Before joining Norland Managed Services, Duncan worked for Hays Distribution Services for five years as Financial Controller. Prior to this he worked for nine years with Marks and Spencer in a variety of senior financial positions.

Kevin Lynn, Managing Director, Corporate Services
Joined Norland Managed Services in March 2009 and was appointed to the Board in March 2010 as Divisional Managing Director for Corporate Services. Prior to joining Norland, Kevin worked for Johnson Controls where he held the position of Regional Director for North West Europe. Prior to this he worked for York International in various senior management roles.

John Maidment, Group Services Director
John joined Norland in 2002 when a new management team was put in place. At the time the business sales revenue was £32 million. John focused on retention and meeting customer needs. He was appointed to the Norland Board of Directors in 2012.
Prior to that John was Sales Director at GSH Group for four years, and before that Specification Sales Manager at Toshiba Carrier UK for 15 years.
John is a qualified electrical engineer and has an MBA.

Tommy Meikle, Managing Director, UK Services
Joined Norland Managed Services as Operations Manager in 2001 with responsibility for the Northern region and the Scotland office. He was promoted to Regional Manager for Scotland in 2004, Business Unit Director of Scotland in 2006, Divisional Operations Director for the Corporate Services Division in 2007 and to his present position of Divisional Managing Director for UK Services in 2008. Tommy was appointed to the Board in March 2009. Prior to working for Norland, Tommy was with PME/Carillion in various operational and management roles.

Paul Saville-King, Managing Director, International
Joined Norland Managed Services in 2002 and was appointed to the Board in May 2006 as Managing Director, Critical Environment Services. In April 2011 Paul was appointed to the position of Managing Director of Norland’s new Division, Managed Services. Prior to joining Norland, Paul worked for Honeywell Controls, a global blue chip controls company for sixteen years, culminating in the general management of a key subsidiary acquisition.

Tony Smith, Managing Director, Critical Environment Services
Tony joined Norland Managed Services as a Contract Manager in March 2003 and was appointed as Divisional Managing Director for Critical Environment Services in March 2011. Prior to joining Norland, Tony worked in the manufacturing industry for Honeywell Controls.
Tony was appointed to the Norland Board of Directors in 2012.

Steve Booker, QHSE Director
Steve joined Norland as Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Director in 1998.
Prior to that he spent ten year at Eurostar as a Safety Engineer. Steve carried out his mechanical apprenticeship with Dunlop.

Steve Harries, Group Commercial Director
Steve joined Norland as the first Commercial Manager in November 2002 and became Commercial Director in 2005.
Before joining Norland Steve spent 15 years at Satchwell Control Systems, initially as a Contract Surveyor, then as Divisional Commercial Manager.

Rachel Lee, Procurement Director
Rachel joined Norland Managed Services as Procurement Director in 2008. Prior to this, Rachel worked as Head of Supply Chain for BAA Gatwick.
Rachel has a over 25 years experience in senior supply chain and procurement roles, in the UK and Asia Pacific, spanning a number of industries including facilities management, FMCG, pharmaceutical, retail, manufacturing, telecoms, IT and airport management.

Gary Perry, Director of Sustainability, Energy and Projects
In September 2009 Gary was appointed to the role of Director of Sustainability, Energy and Projects. Prior to that Gary was Divisional Managing Director for Corporate Services. He has been a Board member since 2004. Prior to working for Norland, Gary worked for Satchwell Control Systems in a range of operational roles. Gary began his career with Shell.
