Success in the RoSPA Awards 2013 for Norland

Norland, one of the UK and Ireland’s leading facilities, energy and project management companies has had its approach to occupational safety and health recognised in an awards scheme run by the safety charity, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
Norland received the ‘Commended in the Facilities Management Sector’ award at the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2013 which took place in a ceremony at the National Exhibition Centre.

Norland to support Astrium’s space exploration

Norland’s ‘critical environment’ team will provide facilities and engineering maintenance services to Astrium’s ‘clean-room manufacturing facilities’ in Stevenage and Portsmouth. Such controlled environments must be managed to tight tolerances as is essential to the successful design, build and testing of satellite and space systems.
