In response to growing demand for reductions in carbon emissions and the need to cut energy costs, Norland has developed the Energy Matters programme.
The buildings we all work in account for at least 40% of UK carbon emissions. The government is now bringing forward a comprehensive range of measures, such as CRC EEC, to mitigate such high emissions.
The Norland Energy Matters programme can help you to:
· Permanently cut your energy demand and costs
· Source clean and/or onsite energy alternatives
· Measure and benchmark your carbon footprint
· Renew your asset infrastructure
· Conform to government policies
· Achieve your corporate responsibility goals
Norland has over 150 Energy Engineers operating on customer sites and trained to optimise their building’s performance, reduce energy costs and minimise environmental impact.
Our Active Energy Management service not only measures and benchmarks your building’s performance but also actively reviews its operation against expected profiles; generating alarms if these are exceeded. Through these simple low-cost activities our onsite teams are saving up to 20% of our customers’ energy bills.
Government policy is moving towards local embedded electricity and heat generation (CHP & CCHP) and our project teams are assisting customers in meeting these goals. We are working in partnership with our customers to determine their energy needs: designing, installing and maintaining the equipment that meet these needs.
Our approach to reducing carbon emissions and energy costs does not just focus on the demand side of the meter. The Norland Energy Bureau operation means that we can offer a fully integrated approach to the challenges that our customers face. This includes:
· Installing half hour, non half hour and sub meters for electricity, gas and water.
· Comprehensive exception reporting to identify any changes in profile. Our Energy
Engineers are equipped to address such changes.
· Validating your bills in order to stop overcharging, errors and delays.
· Creation of bills for tenants, departments or any area of your organisation.
· Our personalised energy procurement service is tailored to meet your specific business needs. We
undertake the full tender and negotiation process from quotation through bid reports to final contract award.
The Norland Energy Matters programme is leading the way in helping organisations achieve their carbon targets and become more efficient as a result.
We know we can do the same for you.
