We seek to continuously improve the ways in which we contribute directly and indirectly to the general well-being
of the communities within which we work. The majority of our direct cash donations go to long-term community
investment with mutual benefits for both our business and our partners. Other donations are in response to social needs.
Our people are encouraged to get involved in community programmes especially in partnership with our customers.
This provides a good way of connecting with our customers in their local community. Our people learn new skills and
are motivated by 'making a difference'.

The LionHeart Challenge takes groups of key stage 3 pupils from secondary schools across the UK and provides them with an enterprise learning experience. The programme gives an opportunity for participants to become enthusiastic about business and acts as inspiration for our future business leaders. Norland Managed Services is proud to be a supporter of the LionHeart Challenge. For more information go to:

| Our people regularly work alongside our customers on community projects. Recent contributions have included the refurbishment of a homeless women's hostel for the Church Army and the refurbishment of a community centre in Bedfont. |
| Norland has an environmentally sound transport policy for the delivery of services. Within the London area we are introducing hybrid vehicles. Our people are trained in driving techniques aimed at reducing accidents and damage (safe driving) and to drive vehicles using methods and practices which will reduce fuel consumption. |
